Tamil Teaching is interesting with songs and stories
My Daughter has been learning Tamil in ValaiTami Online Tamil Academy since June 2020. In this time Isai has learned how to read and write; I also notice her speaking more confidently in Tamil. Teacer is very patient; she also tries to keep the lessons interesting by using songs and stories which my daughter loves. I am happy with these lessons and hope to see Isai speak fluent Tamil.

Passionate about teaching but also has the knack to teach to students at their level.
Vanakkam. I have two sons that are taking online Tamil classes geared toward "speaking fluently." Both my sons, although fast learners, are beginners. We know the ValaiTamil teachers are putting a lot of effort. Being online it is hard to gauge the level of the learner quickly. Further, our sons are reluctant-learners when it comes to Tamil. But we want them to gradually build their skill set, give them early success, and that's why we came to ValaiTamil academy and that's exactly what the teachers strive to do. I can honestly say that ValaiTamil Academy Teacher is the first instructor that I see who is not only passionate about teaching but also has the knack to teach to students at their level. Thank you, sir. I thank ValaiTamil academy for starting Tamil classes online. I appreciate it very much, I really do.

They are able to talk with their grandparents and relatives in India
My Two songs are in High school. Although our household's primary language has been Tamil, the kids never spoke more than a few words. They started the Tamil class in November 2019. Teacher is incredibly patient with the kids and helped them learn letters and write them very quickly. They are being taught based on the International Tamil Academy's (ITA/CTA) High School curriculum. ValaiTamil was referred by ITA/CTA Team for One-One Teaching. It was easy enough for them to follow yet mature enough for their age group. Teacher had covered the entire syllabus of Sem1 with them and she had used supplemental materials as well.. She gave them homework often and we have them work on the practice books. I am proud to say that my kids can now read and write passages. They are able to talk with their grandparents and relatives in India. They are not perfect but I am confident that they will be proficient in Tamil when they complete the course.Teacher has been flexible to adjust a few times when the kids had other commitments come up. And for the most part the internet connection has been stable and clear. She communicates ahead of time of any occasional changes needed so we are able to adjust. Overall our experience has been very pleasant and my kids are thriving and are willing to continue learning with Valaitamil Academy teacher. Last but definitely not least, I would like to thank ValaiTamil & ITA for this wonderful opportunity for my kids to participate in the Tamil learning program.
